The UDI U27 Free Loop is an ‘Inverter’ style quadcopter, featuring intelligent electronics to take quadcopter aerobatics to the next level. Many quadcopters can flip 360° back to upright flight but the new U27 is capable of flipping 180° to inverted (upside down) and continuing to fly!
When flipped controls are automatically reversed allowing you to fly as easily as if the quad was upright! During the flip the motors reverse direction in a fraction of a second to suit inverted flight. You don’t have to flip to fly inverted, you can (with care) launch the U27 inverted or take off inverted from the floor, a feature that is especially useful if you crash and the quad flips upside down.
As you would expect from UDI it has 6-axis stabilisation and comes prebuilt in the box, all you need to do is add 4 ‘AAA’ batteries to the Tx and charge the Li-Po using the included charger. The ‘console’ style 2.4GHz controller is easy to hold and the flip function is as easy as pressing a button.
