The Lake Reaper boat is ideal for fishermen looking for a compact bait boat of a high quality, with all the features needed on a bait boat but at an affordable price!
We have tried, tested & upgraded this boat for over 5 years and found it to be very reliable. It has never let us down & it’s simple to use & easy to maintain.
This boat is faster than most on the market and fitted with a quiet motor. We have also fitted our boats with a proportional electric speed controller. This allows you to control the boat at any speed and use a ‘chug’ setting where you can operate the boat as slow or fast as needed, so the more power you put on the controller the faster or slower the boat will go. This is a great feature when you are trying to hit an exact spot close to a bank or under trees. This is also the case in reverse! A lot of other boats only have one speed or a slow/fast speed setting so beware!
Interference free radio, Single Hand Control!
This is the new V3 Version, released in September 2023! Upgraded handset now fitted with a LCD screen, with telemetry feature so you can see the battery level of your boat from the handset!
Fitted with a 2.4GHz radio set, this is a digital frequency which cuts out any possibility of interfering with other Fishermans bait boats. It also provides a range of 300+ meters which is more than enough on most lakes. The single handed control radio is handy when your controlling the boat with your rod in your other hand. This radio also has a ‘cruise control’ feature which allows you to hold the speed of your bait boat by pressing a button. You can then keep this same speed until pressing the button again to cancel this mode. This can come in handy if your sending the boat out long distance. This radio no longer requires an aerial on the side of the boat, this avoids any snagging with branches etc. The handset has a sound alarm for low voltage to avoid loosing control with the boat in the water. The handset is fitted with a rechargeable battery and also comes with a arm strap.
Brilliant single handed radio control 6 Channel set! This is a fantastic little 2.4ghZ radio set with a very impressive range. You have 2 channels on the 360 joystick, mainly used for throttle/reverse and Left/Right. Both channels are proportional. The other 4 channels are on/off or open/close buttons for use on bait boat hoppers, lights on/off etc.
This handset has a number of great features, below we have listed the ones most suitable for bait boat use:

– Deeper Pro fish finder compatible – Works with all fish finders, including the Deeper fish finder range without causing any interference or reducing the fish finders range.

– Easy rudder fine tuning – If your rudder is not central and causing the boat to veer to one side, you can easily adjust the rudder to straighten up.
– Cruise control feature – This handset has a impressive cruise control feature. You can press the button and the speed of the throttle you are currently controlling will stay at this same speed until you cancel the feature by pressing the button again!
– This handset is fitted with a rechargeable battery. Charge lead included aswell as a wrist landyard/wristband and handset cover/case.
No More Snags!
The boat has an internal aerial so no longer requires a long external aerial. No more getting snagged under branches!
The Hopper
The boat has a easy to use hopper for dropping the bait which can also take your hook length. The simple drop down lid can hold up to a large amount of bait.
Lighting
The Boat has bright LED lights at the front and back. These can be seen from a distance and makes the boat easier to navigate when it gets dark.
We have upgraded the boat which now comes with a built in LED voltage reader on the side of the hull. This shows the battery voltage (great help!) so you know just how well charged the batteries are and when they need charging.
Battery Life
The boat includes a pair of 6 volt 5 amp batteries and a mains charger.
These batteries will last approx 3-4 hours on a single charge. Ideal for a day/night session. We also sell additional batteries for only £24.99 for the pair (ideal for week sessions in France)
Spare prop and fuses also included.
Easy to Service and Maintain
The boat can be taken apart without needing to cut open a seal. This can be very cost effective if you need to service the boat or replace any parts. All electronic parts inside the boat can also be replaced easily and use high quality RC components such as receivers and speed controllers.
We also keep ALL spare parts in stock for this boat. Our boats are easily serviceable and we offer a 1 year’s warranty as well as fast, friendly and reliable phone service.
At only 59cm long and 29cm wide, this boat is easy to transport. We offer a range of bags for protecting the boat aswell as carrying the handset, batteries, fish finder (if fitted) and more!
