Graupner Nordic M 1/75 Kit

After the accident of the freighter Pallas, the German “Seenotschleppkonzept” was revised in 1998. At the turn of the year 2010/2010, Nordic replaced the outdated Oceanic. The modern tugboat achieves a top speed of 20 knots and reaches all positions of the German Bay within two hours. The ship is equipped with a so-called citadel, a gas and explosion protection, which allows the Nordic to operate also in highly inflammatory or health-threatening environment.

The Premium Kit
For the friends of “real” model building, who want to build their remote-controlled ship from the ground up, this impressive tug is now also available as a premium kit. The hull is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) and is particularly sturdy. The superstructures of the model ship are made of lasered ABS parts. Many small details and details are made of metal. The model is unpainted. Two 600 electric motors as well as a 400 engine for the transverse thruster are included in the delivery. The transverse thrusters, the steering system and the rudder servo are also included. Furthermore, the set contains detailed instructions with a DIN A0 plan on a 1: 1 scale.
