The model of the Capitano di Venetia is an exact reproduction, down to the smallest detail, of the original command galley of the Venetian admiral Marco Quirini which took part in the Battle of Lepanto on the 7th of October 1571.
This is a reconstruction that is exact down to the smallest detail (frame construction) with many prefabricated parts. The model is not cut and parts will require cutting out.
All the fittings including the carvings on the poop are provided, pre fabricated in the supplied fittings kit (3255/01).
The pre stitched sails set (3255/02) is also included.
